Overview:
Our clients are looking for friendly and reliable Cashiers to join their teams. The successful candidates will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining clean and organized checkout areas. The ideal candidates will be personable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling various payment methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Scan and bag items efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
- Greet customers warmly and answer any questions they may have.
- Resolve customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Ensure all price tags are accurate and visible.
- Monitor the cash register for any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- High school Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Any college certification is a plus.
