Position Summary:
Our client, a leading hotel in Serbia, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their dynamic team. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation and compliance. You will work closely with department heads to ensure the hotel maintains a positive and efficient work environment while also providing exceptional service to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process for all hotel positions, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified candidates.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment across all departments.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Address employee concerns and mediate disputes to ensure a harmonious workplace.
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance employee performance, guest service, and compliance with hotel standards.
- Ensure employees are trained in hotel policies, safety procedures, and job-specific skills.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition for achievements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for all employees in accordance with hotel policies.
- Administer payroll and employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate processing of salaries and other compensations.
- Provide guidance on compensation and benefits inquiries and maintain employee records.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, hotel policies, and health and safety regulations specific to Serbia.
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, reports, and records as required.
- Promote employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and other engagement activities.
- Work with senior management to develop HR strategies that align with hotel goals and objectives.
- Advise management on HR-related issues, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, training, and performance management.
- Familiarity with HR software and payroll systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and manage sensitive situations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
