Job Summary:
Our client is seeking for meticulous and organized Stock Controllers to manage inventory levels, order processing and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to inventory management to ensure the optimal availability of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders and investigate problems.
- Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Process purchasing orders as required; track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures.
- Reconcile discrepancies in inventories and notify discrepancies of actual stock counts to computerized records.
- Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
- Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
- Prepare reports on inventory balance, shortages, and discrepancies.
- Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment.
- Manage inventory adjustments, transfers, and returns-to-vendor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a stock controller, inventory manager, or similar position.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
- High school Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Any college certification is a plus.
