Job Summary:
Our client is looking for dedicated Supermarket Attendants to join their team. In this role, the supermarket attendants will be pivotal in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers by keeping shelves stocked, maintaining store cleanliness and providing friendly and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the store and assist them in locating products.
- Ensure shelves and display areas are fully stocked, organized, and clean.
- Perform regular inventory checks and alert management to any stock discrepancies.
- Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and clearing debris.
- Support promotional activities and adjust displays to reflect seasonal or promotional changes.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Provide assistance with bagging and carrying groceries, offering additional help when necessary.
- Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and patience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items up to [specific weight] pounds.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications:
